Sokoban is a classic puzzle game created in 1980 by Hiroyuki Imabayashi and later published by Thinking Rabbit in 1982.

Gameplay

You are a warehouse keeper who is in a maze viewed from above. You must push boxes around and try to put them in designated locations. Only one box may be pushed at a time, and boxes cannot be pulled. When all boxes are covering destinations the level is complete.

Explorations

  • See if you can push all the boxes on the targets in the different levels
  • Can you solve any of the puzzles in first-person?
  • Can you extend the game to recognize when you put all the boxes on their targets and when that happens, move to the next level? You may want to get some inspiration from the tutorial for the AgentSheets equivalent project.
